Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District (CBD Punjab), has paid a creative tribute to the founder of Pakistan, Quaid E Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on his 146th birth anniversary by installing a portrait of Quaid E Azam 50 ft above the ground level.  The portrait is installed at the CBD Punjab project site in Lahore.    Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District (CBD Punjab), has planned to build a Rainwater Harvesting Tank at Saint Marry Park Lahore. This initiative is a valuable addition to the authority’s existing project of CBD Punjab Boulevard and Kalma Chowk Underpass Remodeling. During a briefing session about the project Executive Director Technical PCBDDA, Mr. Riaz Hussain said, “The existing water storage tank at Kalma Chowk Underpass, is insufficient for catering an additional estimated 14 cusec rainwater from the two new barrels. The authority has planned to build a storage tank with a capacity of storing 300,000 gallons of water at Saint Marry Park, Lahore. This water will be filtered and reused in various ways, especially for irrigation of parks and horticulture”.     The export ceremony of locally manufactured mobile phones by PTA Authorization holder: Inovi Telecom was held at PTA headquarters today. The ceremony was held to mark Inovi Telecom’s achievement of exporting one hundred and twenty thousand (120,000) “Manufactured in Pakistan” mobile phones of SEGO brand to United Arab Emirates for African markets. To upgrade the infrastructure of Lahore, the authority has started construction of CBD Punjab Boulevard and Kalma Chowk Underpass remodeling for a cost of Rs 4.2 billion.        Imran Amin CEO of Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District (CBD Punjab), has directed the official contractor National Logistic Cell (NLC) of Kalma Chowk Remodeling project to work 24 hours on the project. The project developed at a cost of Rs 4.2 billion has completed 1000 retaining piles out of 2000 total retaining piles within a period of one month. According to the CBD Punjab spokesperson the authority is utilizing all the resources to the maximum to complete the project ahead of the schedule as per directed by the CEO, for the convenience of the public. The shifting process is in progress to move electrical and telecommunication instruments at Ali Zaib Road. A comprehensive traffic plan will be communicated to the public in collaboration with the City Traffic Police Lahore before the Kalma Chowk underpass is completely closed.
